The TIM network links the main communes in Morbihan with the SNCF stations in the conurbations of Vannes and Lorient via 2 major tourist services: Auray-Carnac-Quiberon (Belle-Ile) and Vannes-Port Navalo (Rhuys Peninsula). ORGANISING AUTHORITY

The Departmental Council acts every day to support Morbihan’s inhabitants and companies in many aspects of life :- solidarity and social cohesion - regional development and living environment - supporting the economy and jobs- the environment and, with regard to travel :- the departmental road system- sea crossings to and from the islands- the bike plan - car-sharing- school transport (outside the Vannes and Lorient Conurbation Communities)- inter-urban passenger transport or the TIM Network. The TIM Network is run by the Departmental Council and supplements the structuring TGV and TER Network and the bus network in the Vannes (TPV) and Lorient (CTRL) areas to provide a coherent service throughout the Morbihan department.

Conditions under which free transport is available

- Accompanied child aged 0 to 4, sitting on the accompanying adult’s lap. - Person accompanying a disabled person - Holder of a card with the wording “Tierce Personne” (guide dogs for the blind are in this category). - Foreign pen-friend as part of a school exchange (as long as places are available). - Pupil on a short placement (and already holder of a subsidised school transport card). - Pets transported in cages or in a basket on the person’s lap.
